This announcement contains inside information for the purpose of satisfying Article 11 of the Market Abuse (Amendment) (EU Withdrawal) Regulations 2019/310.

("BWA" or "Company") (AQSE: BWAP)

Active and independent JORC (2012) Cameroon Nkoteng and Dehane project qualified personnel report

BWA Group plc [AQSE: BWAP] holds a mineral exploration license between Canada and Cameroon, and offers quotations in the AQSE growth market (formerly NEX) in London, and provides a recently completed Independent Competent Person Report ("CPR" or " Update of the report”)) Nkoteng and Dehane heavy ore projects (“Nkoteng”, “Dehane” or “Nkoteng Project”, “Dehane Project” or “Project”) in central and western Cameroon owns 90% of the equity.

BWA currently holds two heavy mineral sand licenses in Cameroon, both of which are in the early stages of exploration. The Nkoteng permit covers an area of 497 square kilometers, including part of the future Sanaga river system, located 60 kilometers northeast of Yaoundé, with convenient transportation and easy access to Douala Port (see Figure 1). The Dehane permit covers an area of 132 square kilometers, including part of the potential estuary of the Nyon River system, and is located 166 kilometers west of the capital Yaoundé and 70 kilometers from the Kribi deep sea port and industrial zone.

BWA is pleased to announce that according to JORC (2012) for the Nkoteng and Dehane Heavy Ore Sands ("HMS") license, an independent qualified personnel report has been reviewed on the exploration results, geology and prospects of the license area. Completed by Tecoma Strategies, a geological and mining consultant in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

The independent CPR reviews the project's geological background, mineralization, and the results of the recent early exploration and exploration plan, and combines the new results and discoveries of the limited preliminary mineral separation test work on ten samples taken from the two licenses, and provides independent Expert opinion discovers and develops the prospect and potential of economically valuable heavy mineral deposits.

Basement geology, current and ancient river system erosion and sedimentary environment are considered to be conducive to the development of heavy mineral deposits.

Tecoma Strategies is encouraged by the grade and scope of all target minerals in the Nkoteng and Dehane licenses.

The pit section, two new auger sections and many riverbank exposures were inspected and recorded. Among them, rutile, ilmenite, kyanite and zircon were observed in hand specimens and sieved samples, their grain size and interest quantity.

So far, most pits and auger boreholes have failed to reach the bedrock, staying in the main target mineralized sand and basement gravel units. There is the potential to increase the thickness of expected sand and gravel elements compared to those encountered so far.

In areas with higher sampling density, the experimental variogram shows the statistical continuity of mineralization.

Although the current stage is limited, the preliminary mineral separation test work of 10 samples shows that many samples are suitable for particle size sorting, especially the coarser target sand and gravel units, with significant grades of titanium oxide (rutile-ilmenite) , Zircon (zircon) and alumina (kyanite) are reported to the HLS section.

The mapping and data interpretation indicate the extensive floodplain and ancient floodplain development associated with the Sanaga and Nyong river systems, as well as the expected alluvial units and target areas.

The results so far have been considered positive, demonstrating the grade and thickness of potential economic benefits within an important horizontal range, and are worthy of further investigation and advancement of exploration work, including drilling testing, mineral resource estimation, leading to preliminary conceptual mining research and economic evaluation.

The complete JORC (2012) qualified personnel report is available on the BWA Group website www.bwagroupplc.com/. The version of the announcement also contains various tables and figures.

Please refer to Table 1, Table 2 and Figures 2 and 3 for a summary of the important intervals returned from the first Nkoteng and Dehane reconnaissance pit and auger procedures.

The company is processing data and is still in the early stages of exploration and evaluation. It understands the distribution of mineralization and the related grain size, but feels about the existence of the rising interval of rutile-ilmenite, zircon and kyanite on the continuous belt. It is very encouraging for an area that is considered to have the prospect of heavy mineral sands, and the first activity in the area has achieved such a positive result that it is worthy of further exploration.

Our COVID-19 health and safety protocol continues to enable the team to function in the field.

Richard Battersby, BWA Non-Executive Chairman, commented:

"We are very pleased with the positive results of the independent technical review, which supports the BWA technical team and management's views on the prospects of the BWA licensed area. The preliminary mineral separation work is carried out on the materials encountered that are suitable for separation and enrichment of target minerals. Encouraged by the results and signs, we are now working on the next phase to confirm our positive view of the potential economic value of these two locations and other targets in general"

The independent expert review supports the view that there is continuous HMS mineralization and deposit development potential in the test area at a level sufficient to ensure further follow-up system exploration.

BWA is planning to immediately follow up on these anomalous results to expand and fill the sample area, understand the relationship between mineralization and the host strata, and conduct additional sampling of plastic clay. This work will better demonstrate the HMS exploration potential within the permit and better focus on follow-up drilling plans.

BWA plans to drill 2,500 m and 1,500 m in Nkoteng and Dehane respectively in the first quarter of 2022. It is planned to drill holes every 200 m (on 500 m and 1000 m grid lines), at a depth of approximately 5 meters in Nkoteng and 15 meters in Deha. The grid lines are set on a regular coordinate grid and cover the entire permitted area with a spacing of 200 mx 500 m.

The results are in line with BWA's expectation that it intends to conduct preliminary mineral resource estimates by the end of the second quarter of 2022.

For a detailed summary of the exploration work and geological background, please refer to the previous RNS dated April 26, 2021 and July 13, 2021.

A total of 10 samples were submitted to ALS Perth for mineral separation and percentage determination of heavy minerals from selected samples from Dehane and Nkoteng. Collect samples from double auger boreholes at representative locations.

The sample is divided into +1mm part, 1mm to 0.053mm and less than 0.053mm according to the size distribution. Measure the mass of each size part, and the mass of the -0.053 part is also inversely calculated from the total mass. The quality of this inverse calculation is similar to the measured quality.

The sample is subjected to heavy liquid separation (HLS) analysis to determine the proportion of the sample that can be separated at a density of 2.96 kg/dm3. The quality of the sink recovered at this density was further analyzed.

Ten -2mm sample rejects from Nkoteng were used for particle size research and visual particle size fraction analysis. Eleven -2mm sample rejects from Dehane were used for particle size research and visual particle size fraction analysis.

Although the current stage is limited, preliminary work has shown that many samples are suitable for particle size fractionation, especially the main target sand and gravel unit, which contains a large amount of titanium oxide (rutile-ilmenite), zirconium (zircon) and alumina (kyanite) ) Report to the HLS score.

From the limited mineral separation work, the samples show good separation between 1 mm and 0.053 mm, but many samples show high clay content, which interferes with the recovery rate, but further work is needed to understand the minerals in the potential mineralization layer Composition / various material types.

The samples can be graded by particle size, where a large amount of ilmenite is reported to the HLS fraction. Further sampling and detailed testing are needed to better understand the characteristics of mineralized materials, separation characteristics and the amount of recoverable HMS, especially the samples with lower HLS weight.

The data is a very limited mineral separation test. Although it is currently considered to be largely uncertain, it provides an encouraging sign that certain layers within the profile, especially sand and gravel units. It is suitable for separation, and it is very inspiring to have the right size fraction and element composition.

It is planned to conduct further systematic and more detailed mineral separation and mineralogy (QEMSCAN) studies in the expected target area.

Please refer to Table 3 for a summary of mineral separation results.

According to a large-scale analysis released in South Africa on Tuesday, Pfizer/BioNTech's two-dose vaccination provided only 33% protection against infections with coronavirus omicron variants, but 70% protection against hospitalization. The first large-scale analysis of vaccine effectiveness in regions where new variants are found seems to support early signs that omicron is more likely to spread and that Pfizer injections are not as effective as delta variants in preventing infection. The analysis is based on more than 211,000 COVID-19 copies Of the positive test results, 41% were from adults who had received two doses of Pfizer vaccine. The research was conducted by Discovery Health, South Africa's largest private health insurance company, and the South African Medical Research Council.

Bank executives trapped in Hong Kong’s weeks-long quarantine plan received candy from senior regulators during the quarantine period to boost morale. A spokesman for the HKMA said on Wednesday: “Senior managers of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) paid out of their pockets to send candy to a small number of quarantined executives as a show of personal care.” Local media in Hong Kong earlier reported the gesture. Hong Kong’s strict quarantine system helped it get rid of the worst effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has always been a burden on residents of Asia’s largest financial center and international banks located there.

A report supported by the United Nations found that Colombian police killed at least 10 people in protests that broke out in September last year, after a taxi driver was beaten to death during police custody. The 182-page report released on Monday stated that from September 9 to 11, 2020, Colombian police carried out a “slaughter” of civilians in low-income communities. It said the violence was out of control because the police responded to the protests in front of the police station
