Rare Earth Products Prices Remained Resilient Albeit Poor Demand_SMM | Shanghai Non ferrous Metals

SHANGHAI, May 26 (SMM) - The prices of PrNd products were firm today, with the mainstream prices of PrNd oxide standing at 950,000 yuan/mt, and the offer by separation enterprises was still high. Some metal factories were cautious with muted purchasing demand as it was difficult to ship the products, and the downstream turned away from the high prices of raw materials. Magnetic material enterprises were a wait-and-see, and were not very active in making inquiries, with orders being placed mainly on demand.

The mainstream prices of PrNd oxide rose slightly to 945,000-955,000 yuan/mt, and PrNd alloy prices rose along with the oxide to 1.15-1.16 million yuan/mt.

The traded prices of dysprosium oxide rose to 2.59-2.61 million yuan/mt in the mainstream market today, dysprosium metal was quoted at 3.40-3.43 million yuan/mt, and the prices of dysprosium iron were raised to 2.59-2.61 million yuan/mt.

Terbium oxide was mainly sold at 14.5-14.6 million yuan/mt today, while terbium metal was traded at a price of 18.4-18.6 million yuan/mt.

Gadolinium oxide prices were slightly raised to 545,000-555,000 yuan/mt, while gadolinium iron prices stabilised at 520,000-540,000 yuan/mt today.
